Use the Thai document templates (tax invoice, receipt and more)
We provide four Thai-style Excel templates: tax invoice, receipt, delivery note and quotation. Download one, check your company details and the VAT rate, register it with "テンプレ追加" (Add template) in PRING, and map the {{…}} marker cells to kintone fields. Enter dates as ordinary (CE) dates and the document prints them in the Buddhist Era (CE + 543). Have your accountant confirm tax requirements.
Steps
1. Download the template
Download the xlsx for the document you need from the table on this page. Each is one A4 portrait page with Thai and English labels. The second sheet, "วิธีใช้ - How to use", explains the template in Thai, English and Japanese and lists a suggested mapping from cells to fields.
2. Open it in Excel and check your details and the VAT rate
Light-yellow cells are meant to be edited. The VAT rate (7% to start with) lives in one cell; change only that cell and the tax and total follow. To print a fixed logo or company name, type it over the marker cell and leave that cell out of the mapping.
3. Register it with "テンプレ追加"
On the "テンプレート" (Templates) tab of the PRING settings, press "テンプレ追加" (Add template), enter the "テンプレ ID" (template ID), "ボタン名" (button name) and output format, and upload the xlsx. The steps are in [Register a template](/en/help/admin/template). The button name can be entered in Thai and English as well.
4. Map the marker cells to kintone fields
In "3. セルの対応付け" (cell mapping), press a marker cell such as {{ชื่อผู้ขาย}} and choose a kintone field. You can also use the AI suggestions. Map the line items (รายการ, จำนวน, หน่วย, ราคาต่อหน่วย) to a kintone subtable. The amount column is an Excel formula; leave it alone. To expand line items, see [Set up subtable (line item) layout](/en/help/admin/subtable).
5. Map dates to the CE input cell
The date printed on the document (for example 27/10/2569) is calculated from a Christian Era date in the work cells on the right (columns H and I, outside the print area), plus 543 years. Map the kintone date field to the light-yellow cell in column I, not to the date cell on the document.
6. Save and export a record to check
Press "保存" (Save), then press the export button on a kintone record and check the PDF: number formats, the date in the Buddhist Era, Thai letter shapes and the number of line-item rows. Thai text in the PDF uses the standard font Noto Sans Thai ([Register fonts (BYOF)](/en/help/admin/fonts)).
Templates
| Document | Thai / English | What it has | Download |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tax invoice | ใบกำกับภาษี / Tax Invoice | Seller and buyer tax IDs and head office or branch, document number, line items, VAT, total, amount in words, signature boxes | pring-th-tax-invoice.xlsx |
| Receipt | ใบเสร็จรับเงิน / Receipt | The invoice content plus payment method, the referenced invoice number, withholding rate and deduction, and the net amount received | pring-th-receipt.xlsx |
| Delivery note | ใบส่งของ / Delivery Note | Ship-to address, PO number, item, quantity, unit and remarks (no prices or tax), receipt boxes | pring-th-delivery-note.xlsx |
| Quotation | ใบเสนอราคา / Quotation | Line items, VAT, total, validity date, payment terms, delivery time, acceptance boxes | pring-th-quotation.xlsx |
They contain no real company names or numbers. The only sample values are the markers ({{…}}).
Before you start
- PRING replaces the whole cell with the mapped value. That is why labels (for example “เลขที่ / No.”) and marker cells are separate cells. Do not map the label cells.
- Pass quantity, unit price and amount as number fields. The amount column and the subtotal, VAT and total are Excel formulas and are recalculated after the data is filled in.
- “จำนวนเงินเป็นตัวอักษร” (the amount in Thai words) takes text you build in a kintone text or formula field. If you do not use it, leave it unmapped and empty.
- The line-item area has 10 to 14 rows. If you need more, use “ページ複製” (page copy) or “行を増やす” (add rows) in Set up subtable (line item) layout.
- From one record you can show two export buttons side by side: your head office’s Excel form and this Thai template.

Frequently asked questions
How is the Buddhist Era date produced?
A work cell takes the kintone date (CE) and the document shows it as dd/mm/yyyy with 543 added to the year. For example, 27 October 2026 prints as 27/10/2569. The formula does not depend on the locale of Excel or the server.
What do I do when the VAT rate changes?
Edit the VAT rate cell (light yellow) in each template and upload the template again. The tax and total formulas refer to that cell. Confirm the current treatment of the rate with your accountant or the Revenue Department.
How is withholding tax (หัก ณ ที่จ่าย) handled?
The receipt template has a withholding rate and a deduction row. Pass the rate from a kintone number field (for example 0.03 for 3%) and leave it empty when nothing is withheld. The deduction is the rate times the subtotal before VAT. The rate and the income it applies to differ by transaction, so confirm them with your accountant.
Can I print an original and a copy?
The heading says "ต้นฉบับ / Original". When you need a copy, duplicate the file, change the heading to "สำเนา / Copy" and register it as another template. You then get two export buttons.
Can I use these for Thai e-Tax Invoices?
These templates produce ordinary PDF and Excel documents. They are not a function for sending an e-Tax Invoice.
Does the template alone satisfy the tax requirements?
We do not guarantee that. It is a sample layout. Based on the items listed for a tax invoice in the Revenue Code (section 86/4), it has fields for the seller and buyer names and addresses, tax IDs, head office or branch, document number, items, quantities and amounts, VAT shown separately, and the date of issue. Confirm the actual requirements and how to issue the document with your accountant or the Revenue Department.
